THE FRENCH-JAPANESE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF TOKYO

INTERMITTENT CLASS

INTERMITTENT CLASS

Monday to Friday (outside holiday schools' periods), it is possible for your child to be integrated intermittently into nursery (limited to two days per month), kindergarten, elementary or middle school classes (unlimited in the number of days). You can apply for intermittent class(es) according to the following formulas:

1- Morning only 8:30-12:00: 5,500 yen

2- Afternoon only: 12:00-15:30: 5,500 yen

3- Full school day: 8:30-15:30: 8,800 yen

Your child will enjoy a wide range of activities organized by our certified teachers and instructors within the official framework of the French Ministry of Education and inquiry-based learning, and will allow your child to mingle with other students. The intermittent class, like the holiday schools, offers your children the chance to test the school environment before enrolling in one or more of our programs.

  • The fees are termly payable before every period of intermittent classes, including all additional and optional services (cafeteria, school bus, after-school, extensions).
  • The intermittent class can be punctual or regular, upon your choice.
  • Before or following the intermittent class schedule, if need be, you may wish to enroll your child in the childcare and/or afterschool program.
  • A trial day is offered to new students.
  • On Wednesdays, the intermittent class is held in the morning only. In the afternoon, students can be enrolled in childcare and/or afterschool activities.
  • There are no admission fees.
  • After the registration and payment, in case of absence of the student for any reason, no refund is possible.
  • The requested schedule (8:30 to 12:00, or 12:00 to 15:30, or 8:30 to 15:30) is to be respected in order to avoid any regular class disruption.

To enroll, please fill in the online admission form with all needed information: our team will get back to you shortly.

"Mushouka" monthly subsidies: owing to the accredited status of the school, the new Japanese Law of October 2019 allows employed (minimum 12 hours per week of work, or justifying an essential need for childcare) parents of children aged 3 to 6 years old who are enrolled in the French-Japanese International School's programs (except some after-school activities) to receive up to 37,000 to 97;000 yen subsidies per month.
