Chasse aux Maisons Hantées 2024 ハロウィンお化け屋敷ハント Halloween Haunted House Hunt
Comme chaque année depuis 2019, l'EIFJ et son Association des Parents d'élèves réunissent la communauté française, binationale, japonaise, et internationale à l'occasion de Halloween ! Le dimanche 3 novembre 2024 à 10 h 30, rendez-vous devant l'EIFJ située au 1-40-13 Nishigaoka Kita-ku pour la Chasse aux Maisons Hantées de Halloween dans le quartier de l'école ! Venez vêtus de vos plus beaux costumes, chassons les maisons hantées du quartier et jouons à Trick or Treat !
À la suite de l'évènement, bienvenue le dimanche 3 novembre de 12 à 15 h au Festival de Nishigaoka à l'école élémentaire Umenoki (2-21-15 Nishigaoka Kita-ku) voisine de l'EIFJ ! Et… action ! L'EIFJ Tokyo a eu l’honneur en mai 2024 d’accueillir l’équipe de NHK pour le tournage de la très populaire émission “#おかあさんといっしょ” (Okaasan to isshou, “Ensemble avec maman”), merci beaucoup ! Les élèves de maternelles de l’EIFJ ont chanté, dansé, ont exprimé quelques mots en français, et fait de la gymnastique avec les fameux présentateurs Azuki et Kazumu ! And... action! In May 2024, EIFJ Tokyo had the honor of hosting the NHK team for the filming of the very popular show “おかあさんといっしょ” (Okaasan to isshou, “Together with Mommy”), thank you very much! EIFJ kindergarten students sang, danced, expressed a few words in French, and did gymnastics with famous presenters Azuki and Kazumu! Broadcast date: Saturday, June 15, 2024. Let's celebrate Bastille Day at the Institut Français of Tokyo
EIFJ partners with the booth of the Association of French people in Japan to offer entertainment for children. Prizes to be won!

Le Japon a une longue tradition de danse du lion, connue sous le nom de shishi-mai (獅子舞) en japonais. On pense qu'elle a été importée de Chine pendant la dynastie Tang et qu'elle a été associée à la célébration de l'anniversaire de Bouddha. La première danse du lion au Japon l'a été lors des cérémonies d'inauguration du Tōdai-ji à Nara en 752. La danse est généralement exécutée pendant le Nouvel An pour porter chance et chasser les mauvais esprits. Les danseurs-lions peuvent être accompagnés de musiciens jouant de la flûte et du tambour. Elle est également exécutée lors d'autres festivals et célébrations. Dans certaines de ces représentations, les lions peuvent mordre la tête des enfants et parents pour leur porter chance.


Japan has a long tradition of the lion dance and the dance is known as shishi-mai (獅子舞) in Japanese. It is thought to have been imported from China during the Tang dynasty, and became associated with the celebration of Buddha's Birthday. The first lion dance recorded in Japan was at the inauguration ceremonies of Tōdai-ji in Nara in 752. The dance is commonly performed during the New Year to bring good luck and drive away evil spirits, and the lion dancers may be accompanied by flute and drum musicians. It is also performed at other festivals and celebrations. In some of these performances, the lions may bite people on the head to bring good luck.

EIFJ et IGS Academy s'associent pour offrir aux enfants de merveilleuses expériences sportives ! L'Académie IGS est une académie sportive internationale basée à Ota-ku (Kamata, Ikegami) et Toshima-ku (Ikebukuro), qui s'efforce de dispenser des programmes d'éducation physique de niveau international aux élèves par le biais de diverses activités sportives ici au Japon. Les 2 août, les familles de l'EIFJ sont invitées au campus principal pour faire du sport avec les élèves japonais d'IGS (à partir de l'âge de 5 ans) pour qu'ils puissent en apprendre davantage sur la culture et la langue françaises lors d'un évènement sportif ! L'accueil par les élèves de l'EIFJ des élèves de l'IGS est un grand honneur : cultivons ensemble de forts liens entre les deux écoles et amusons-nous !

The (free) Xmas & New Year Concert of EIFJ, it’s on 13th December 2022 from 9:30 to 11:30 in Akabane Concert Hall in Tokyo Kita-ku! An event open to EIFJ students but also those from other schools enrolled in any EIFJ programs (holiday schools, after-school & short-term childcare). Enjoy a marvelous evening full of surprises, beautiful music, ballet & theater performances!

Fabien E. Levet, Fondateur de l'École Internationale Franco-Japonaise de Tokyo et de la Crèche internationale, comme en 2020, est finaliste 2022 des Trophées des Français de l'Étranger, catégorie Éducation.
