The facts:

85% of companies in Japan have difficulty recruiting bilingual or trilingual talented individuals, due in particular to inadequate teaching quality, oversized schools, non official education systems, and an aging population.

Goals:

The International French-Japanese School aims at providing better education and training, thus offering companies and institutions in Japan and around the world a pool of talent to give them the strength, influence and competitiveness they need.

Foundation program and training of EIFJ students from Nursery to Junion High School through internationally recognized educational programs:

- French Ministry of Education

- International Baccalaureate*

EIFJ strategies for rapidly developing students' skills and interests:

- Bilingualism: French-English, French-Japanese, or English-Japanese

- Optional addition of a third and fourth language (Spanish, German, Chinese, Korean) during extracurricular activities

- Teacher-student's encouraging ratio

- Wide range of skill-building after-school activities

Projects:

- Guidance system based on students' own interests and promising career fields

- Alumni platform

- Certifications in French, English and Japanese

- Partnerships for tomorrow's competitiveness: internship programs, job fairs, recruitment pools, Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) program, civic service

- Putting EIFJ students in touch with companies, business leaders, startups, institutions and more.

Partnerships with companies, institutions, Chambers of Commerce, and private individuals:

- Offer companies exemptions for the schooling of employees' children via the convention agreement between EIFJ and the France-Japan Chamber of Commerce, concluded in May 2023, or via a direct agreement between EIFJ and companies, without compensation.

- Offer bilingual classes' places to the children of company's employees, without list and without compensation.

- Project: optional participation of companies and individuals in a fundraising plan aiming at boosting the education of French-speaking, Japanese and international youth in Japan via a financing plan.
