Partnerships with companies, institutions, Chambers of Commerce and private individuals

The facts:

85% of companies in Japan have difficulty recruiting bilingual or trilingual talented individuals, due in particular to inadequate teaching quality, oversized schools, non official education systems, and an aging population.

The International French-Japanese School aims at providing better education and training, thus offering companies and institutions in Japan and around the world a pool of talent to give them the strength, influence and competitiveness they need.

Partnerships with companies, institutions, Chambers of Commerce, and private individuals:

- Offer companies exemptions for the schooling of employees' children via the convention agreement between EIFJ and the France-Japan Chamber of Commerce, concluded in May 2023, or via a direct agreement between EIFJ and companies, without compensation.

Club France Initiative

Putting the community of French people living abroad at the heart of France's international influence strategy

Member of the Club France Initiative, EIFJ Tokyo shares a goal and a conviction. The objective is to participate in the emergence of a new dynamic in order to make France more influential internationally. The conviction is that our compatriots around the world have a lot to contribute to France. Because the 3 million French people in our communities around the world have detailed and lasting knowledge of the countries where they live; they are essential to help France succeeds in globalization.

Committed to gather vital forces everywhere abroad is the raison d'être of the Club France Initiative created in 2019 by Anne GENETET, Member of the Parliament representing the French people living in Japan and Asia, and Christian KOENIG, former professor and director of international affairs at ESSEC, with among other active members Jean-Maurice RIPERT, former French Ambassador. The aim of the Club France Initiative is to connect French people living abroad who every day, often on the fringes of traditional networks, contribute to the influence of France, in order to enlighten public and private decision-makers on the innovative ways and means of strengthening French influence in Europe and around the world. It is the community of all those who want to unite their thoughts and actions so that France is stronger on the international scene.

EIFJ Tokyo brings to life this ambition of making French people abroad the protagonists of French influence around the world.
